Compliance is enforced in code, not just policy. Before Bernie discloses anything about an account, it must confirm it’s talking to the right person. No balance, creditor name, or terms are disclosed to an unverified party. If someone says they’re the wrong recipient, that number is blocked across every channel immediately: the AI, human collectors, and automated follow-ups. Cease-and-desist requests are honored on first contact. Attorney representation, bankruptcy, and crisis situations trigger an immediate handoff to a human. Every interaction is logged and auditable. These aren’t instructions we give the AI and hope it follows; they’re enforced by code that runs before and after every message, backed by 400+ automated tests. Is my data secure?

Your data is isolated at the database level: row-level security policies enforce that no client can access another client’s accounts. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Your account data and communications are never used to train public AI models, and are never shared with other clients. Access is controlled and logged. We are not yet SOC 2 certified; that work is in progress, and we’re happy to walk your security team through our architecture in the meantime.

Today, accounts are placed via CSV or spreadsheet upload, or entered directly in the platform. Most clients export an aging report and drop it in, which takes minutes.
